A bit more about Simon:
- Simon has competed in sports from an early age, playing Rugby in the Ellesmere Country competition, Tennis for Prebbleton and Weightlifting for St Thomas of Canterbury College, along with other sports such as Touch Rugby, Road Cycling, and Wake-boarding. He has been involved in Rowing for close to 10 years and represented New Zealand in 2010 and 2011.
- He founded Podium Fitness in 2012 and ran this as a successful Personal Training business. Over the years Simon has sponsored athletes assisting them in achieving their sporting goals, including rowers, triathletes competing on the world stage to motorsport drivers.
- In 2016 he expanded Podium Fitness into Massage Therapy to assist in keeping his clients and sponsored athletes in optimal condition. His most recent athlete, Maddie Davidson qualified and competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as the first NZ Female Trampolinist to do so.
- In 2021 he began to persue his interest in Sports Photography as well, now travels to sports events over New Zealand and internationally offering Sports Massage and Sports Photography.
